The Holy Resurrection Cathedral, also known as Nikolai-do, is the main church of the Japanese Orthodox Church. Standing on Surugadai hill in Ochanomizu, Tokyo, this Byzantine Revival structure features a prominent green dome and a tall bell tower, designed by Meiji-era architect Josiah Conder. Completed in 1891, the cathedral is an Important Cultural Property of Japan.
