Yakitori yokocho stalls

Omoide Yokocho, located beside Shinjuku Station’s west exit, is a historic postwar alley famous for tightly packed yakitori and izakaya stalls. This Showa-era streetscape features about 60–80 tiny food counters. The alley is known for its charcoal-grilled yakitori, grilled offal meats, and nikomi stews.
