Botta's striking design

The Watarium Art Museum, also known as WATARI-UM, is a privately owned contemporary art museum located in Jingūmae, Shibuya. Established by the Watari family in 1990, this museum evolved from Galerie Watari and resides in a six-story building designed by famed Swiss architect Mario Botta. The building's striking granite-and-concrete facade, resembling a bird's wings, makes it a notable architectural landmark.
