Ryusen-ji Temple, also known as Meguro Fudoson, is a historic Tendai-sect temple founded in 808. It's famous for the black-eyed Fudō-myōō statue, which gave the Meguro district its name, and is one of Japan’s Three Great Fudō. The temple is a key site on the Kantō 36 Fudō pilgrimage and is hailed as a spiritual power spot.
