Kenzo tange's futuristic cathedral

St. Mary's Cathedral in Tokyo is a landmark modernist church designed by architect Kenzo Tange. Completed in 1964, its striking composition uses eight hyperbolic paraboloid concrete walls and a stainless-steel roof that forms a cross when viewed from above.
